In the Beginning

My name is Aragon Marks and I am a paintballholic. It all started when I was 14, I had a friend who just got a set of brass eagle tiger shark paintball guns for his birthday. My friend invited me to a little one on one skirmish in the woods and I basically peed my pants I was so terrified. I had never known what adrenaline was until it coursed through me that day and I fell in love. I was so excited that when I came home I couldn't stop talking about it. My older brother was interested and ended up buying me my first paintball marker, a brass eagle talon. my talon came with an instructional VHS that gave me my first look into the actual sport of paintball, and I watched it so many times I wore out the tape and it was just static. luckily I had dial up internet and I was able to start my research into paintball, and through warpig I found they had professional players and also that there was a local field that competed in "National" events. I was a silly little kid not knowing I was just starting my journey into a niche sport that would run my life. I have now been competing for close to 20 years and have learned many lessons, and my yearn to play has remained strong. I wanted to start blogging to help any players with the same asperations as me to get a foot in the door of a sport that is about the adrenaline junkie alpha in us all. Paintball has developed quiet a bit since I jumped in, When I started we were still in the woods and playing behind plywood structures but now its a blow up playground. I am aiming to bring you honest commentary on current paintball events and gear with the mind of a player not a promoter (although I may promote things, Ill let you know:). So welcome to the start of a new thing in my life and thanks for joining me.
